Session 9 Movie Review | Psychological Horror Which Received The Tittle of Cult Classic Movie

Psychological Horror Which Received The Tittle of Cult Classic Movie

Session 9 ( 2001 )  Movie Review & Film Summary

Since Brad Anderson's emergence in the film  industry we can find a kind of fresh formula from the 80's in the 2000s to the present day because his film is so sticky with genres - genres that are quite complicated. He is known as a director who focuses his films in the Psychological genre and also Thriller movies, although the first 2 films are Next Stop Wonderland 1998 and Happy Accidents 2000 which if I think these two movies are a bit mellow yahh before he is known as a fierce director hahaha. And even more so since he released Psychological Horror Thriller entitled Session 9, I felt a new tension from the horror shutter that circulated in the 2000s.

A new form of synergy in the horror shutter of Session 9 apparently also received a lot of scathing criticism from horror seniors, But there is no need to worry because this movie remains as scary even though the criticism has similarities that lead to Stainley Kubrick's film entitled The Shining ( 1980 ).  But to be honest, according to the results of the wild analysis that I found, it seems that Brad Anderson was referenced and influenzaed by Sutrada Alfred Hitchcock, Because the tension and paranoia effect provided by Session 9 is almost - almost equal to the film - the film directed by the legendary director.

Back to the topic, Session 9 itself is a film that is so complex to explain because the cinematography toy in this film is a bit tripping and it's really fun to visualize it orally. And the Screen writing and narration of this film was so wild and un-predictable for us when we first watched it, Because I think Brad Anderson who collaborated with Stephen Gevedon in the creation of the script they were already far above a different level ( His writing skills mean _^ ).

The atmosphere given in session 9 is also different levels of tension along with horror, because Brad Anderson combines elements of Horror with Psychological Thriller so that it mutates into a horror film with a different level of horror than the usual horror films. Just like The Shining movie, Session 9 is not a movie that features Ghosts in physical form, Brad Anderson's Horror Portrayal is more of a psychological mind game that contains puzzles accompanied by horror in the narrative that Brad made, with the background story set against the backdrop of a historical building that has not been operated on for a long time, namely a psychiatric hospital called Danvers State Mental Hospital As a location spot that Brad  Anderson used it in the film, Making this movie seem more creepy.

Now from the location of the shoot spot that is allocated in an old and historic building, it seems that the narrative from Session 9 underlies the plot of the story that leads to a person or a disease related to the psyche, mind, and also the mental. That's why this film is called Psychological Horror which is full of puzzles that concern the 3 things above, when the audience watches the film.

****

Simple Plot :

Starting with Gordon Fleming, the leader of an old building cleaning group, Scene begins with Gordon being cheered up  by Phill because he is going through a period of money crisis, From the beginning of the Scene we have been shown by Fuzzy feeling which leads to a scene full of puzzles - puzzles by the nature of these two characters that will later make the audience ambiguous in predicting the narrative in this film.

Then proceed to an old building that they will later work on to clean up, starring 5 professional actors who have starred in underrated films with a variety of crazy genres! They are David Caruso (Phil), Peter Mullan (Gordon Fleming),  Josh Lucas (Hank), Brendan Sexton III (Jeff), even Screen writer Stephen Gevedon (Mike) also took part in broadcasting the Session 9 storyline with different levels of tension.

These five characters will be shrouded in horror that would never have been thought of from the beginning of the story, Because Brad Anderson packs it in a psychological form that is highlighted more on the behavior of each character, So it makes it a bit difficult to guess where the plot leads to end.

****

Not only is the narrative packaging super unpredictable, all the elements in session 9 are all very well worked out, especially for the visual shots that are made like classic movies so as to add to the impression of horror on a different level.

I can't explain it succinctly for you because you must watch it yourself for those who like the Psychological Horror Genre, And for myself, Session 9 is one of the best horror films of several other horror films in the 2000s that became very popular year after year, so that is one of the factors that made this film included in the popular list of Cult Films  which has special fans. As we know in 2021, it is already difficult to find horror movies with different levels of horror in this year.

Two Evil Eyes 1990 Review movie | Best 90's Cult Classic Horror Movies

Two Evil Eyes 1990 poster movie, review movie

Two Evil Eyes 1990 Review & Explanation

Directors : George A. Romero & Dario Argento

Two Evil Eyes 1990 is a psychological horror that uses the concept of film anthology. This two evil eyes film  is also included in the  cult classic movie  class, with psychological horror elements/genres that managed to grab the  views of cult classic  horror movie  lovers in the 1990's.

Movie Two evil  eyes 1990 is a  film with the  concept of anthology,The cultivator of the  movie two evils eyes itself is George A.Romero & Dario Argento who collaborated on the creation of the best  psychological horror  in  the 1990's,  Degan   two different  narrative plots, namely " The  Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" worked on  by George & starring the  horror actor  of  the legend  of the golden year,  Adrienne Barbeau, and  the second narrative entitled "The Black Cat"  was  worked on  by Dario Argento and starring  Harvey Keitel.

The two different narratives  are adapted from a short  novel written by  a novelist & poetry  who  was  given the title of figure of romanticism in the  18th century, he was Edgar Allan Poe.

The 1990 two evil eyes movie is  a psychological horror  movie that  has been named a cult classic horror movie because the narrative and visuals  in this  film were   carefully worked on by George & Dario, both directors are also  cultivators  which also played a  role in the  development of cult classic horror movies in  the 1990's, Just like Brain Dead 1992 which was worked on by petter Jackson.Brain Dead  is  a film that  is as old as the   same  1990 Two evil eyes    – the same has a distinctive work on  horror classics that flourished in the  1990's.

Synopsis & Explanation

This movie is   divided into  two different  storylines  with the same elements  and uses suspense  elements whose  level of tension is also the same, usually movies that use the  concept of film anthology such as  This has a difference in the tension that hangs if the  first storyline is  different from the second   storyline.  But Two evil eyes 1990's was  carefully worked on  by a duo director who had the title  of cult classic horror cultivator in the  1990's.   The 1990 Two Evil eyes  film was not the result of the  first collaboration between the two of  them, In  1978 George & Argento had collaborated well  on the film Dawn of The Dead.

This duo director   does have a different signature that also enlivens the development of cult classic horror movies to date.

The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar

The fact in the case  of M.Valdemar is the  title of the  prologue  of the   first storyline  of psychological horror which  will later be played by  the legendary cult classic horror actor   Adrienne Barbeau.

Adrienne Barbeau Movie
Adrienne Barbeau

If you are one of the  fans of cult classic horror movies, of course you   are familiar with this senior actor.   Adrenne Barbeau  is  a legendary actor  who was active from the 1970's and is one of the  actors who  has appeared in many films – the horror classic films of the   1970's  until now  is actually  her  face  It is still widely used in horror   films, just because now this senior actor  is aging,  he only appears as a side character in horror films today.

Back to the topic, The film  opens with the  character Adrienne who is riding a  taxi to  go to  a bank, in a taxi    Adrienne is training her acting so that  she can deceive the bank     to get  agreed to the  application for  taking money in the name of the  old husband she married. Well, actually, this psychological Horror  narrative is  not  complicated to understand because  I think the  fictional script  in this film  tells about a reality. which actually happens a lot in the reality of human life.

I think George  is very smart  in adapting the  narrative of the short novel made  by  Edgar, George makes this film  more mature  in dramatic  horror elements by making visuals, sound effects + property/ Wardobe is like a cult classic horror movie  in  the 1970's.

The Black Cat ( Diadaptasi dari short novel Edgar Allan Poe )

As  I explained above, this film is divided into  two different storylines. The first prologue   entitled The  fact in the case of M.Valdemar was worked on by  George A.Romero, while the  second narrative entitled 'The Black Cat'  was worked on by Dario Argento.

Even   though the    storyline is different  and worked on by  two different directors,  the synergy  or atmosphere of tension contained in the film with the two titles  still provides tension / sensation creepy  the same – just as bitter.

Harvey Keitel Movies
Harvey Keitel

If in terms of title &  narrative  it is different, in casting the black cat itself uses a different character  also from the narrative of  the first film  . Here we can find one of  the  actor legends who  appeared in many films  – cult classic films from the early  1970's to the 2000's, he was Harvey Keitel.

This senior  actor is the main character  in   the  second story of the  prologue of the psychological horror film two evil eyes 1990, Here Harvey plays the main character as a villain where  he is motivated to do things    cruel because of his work as a crime scene photographer in the police force.   Against    the backdrop of  his work that is always related to  murder, Harvey Keitel suddenly becomes a  somber man   and starts doing cruel things  to cats his wife's pet  black.

The movie that  Dario  argento worked on is very carefully set-up and the use of visual effects and backing sound effects can make a thrilling sensation.  Two evil eyes 1990 was indeed worked on by  different directors,  usually   if 2 short films  are made into one with different  cultivators   there will usually be  a difference in tension When  Watching it, especially since Two Evil Eyes 1990 is a mystery film with psychological/suspense  elements. These two short films  with  different   titles have the  same  horror  sensation – equally tense, Two evil eyes are successfully classified as one of  the cult classic horror movies  Because two  crazy cultivators collaborated so well to create a new signature in  the Rana Cult Classic Horror movie in the  1990's.

I highly recommend this  movie   as a cult classic movie that  is suitable for you to enjoy in the middle of the night.

Lords of Chaos 2018 | When the death metal become a real pain

Lords of Chaos 2018 | When the death metal become a real pain

Lords of Chaos 2018 Review & Explanation by Stoneeman

Lords of Chaos 2018 | When the death metal become a real pain

Director :  Jonas Akerlund

Lords of Chaos 2018  provided a horror & suspense that became real in the horror/Thriller film industry in  2018.   Since the release  of 'Lords of chaos'  in 2018   , When I watched it in  2020, this  film has never stopped giving me a  very traumatic impression.

In  this review, I   will dissect the  2018 lords of chaos film which I admire so much because it  has inspired me to rise from  the  slump & the darkness that envelops, This film   is not direct is  a  biography film, that inspired by the  life  story of Oystein Aarseth or known by his stage name 'Euronymous'.

Of course, Lords of Chaos 2018  is  a new Horror  film  that is very dramatizing and can make the audience  traumatized by blood when watching visuals full of sadistic  scenes in this film. Telling the story of the biography of a leader  , Euronymous from the black metal band named Mayhem  , Biographical Film  tells the  story of a fantastic life journey and can be an inspiration for the general public  , However,  the  lord of Chaos reveals  about a bloody tragedy  that befell Euronymous as the  founder or leader  of the mayhem band.

This movie  was directed by Jonas Akerlund, he is known as the  drummer of one of  the black metal bands in Sweden, namely 'Bathory;    But for me Jonas is one of  the most  wild  producers in working on the film.

Writer/director Jonas akerlund  ( Assisted also by Dennis Magnusso ), 'Lords of Chaos'  is very well packaged  by Jonas akerlund.   Packed with  hate,Traumatic & sadistic is a fitting word  ornament to envelop the lords of chaos movie;' Lords of  Chaos' was apparently adapted from a book of the same  name as the film (written by Didrik Soderlind).

The narrative that  takes place in the lord of chaos is   very neatly arranged  & slips a lot  of plot – a plot that deserves attention and has a deep meaning about death from my perspective  When   watched it. The totality of Jonas in working on this  film  must  be given credit,Because this  film  is a biography and introduction to the  norwegian black metal band  accompanied by the tragedy that occurred  to the band  in its past.

Lords of Chaos 2018 Review & Explanation by Stoneeman
Based on Truth,Lies that should you watch and what actually happened.

Synopsis & Explanation

This film is the  scariest biography I've ever watched, as it  tells the story of the  biography of the  life journey of a 'Euronymous' leader of a black metal band from   the  Norwegian outskirts   of 'Mayhem'   to death as a  result of his life as a satanic  believer in metal music;  With the use of concepts like biographies and mixed with horror & suspense  elements, this  film is even more tense and can cause traumatic effects when watching it.

***

The character 'Euronymous' is played by  a young actor  who has a charismatic personality he is 'Rory Culkin  ; The beginning of the Scene opens like a biographical film by   telling how  Oystein Aarseth AKA 'Euronymous' formed the  band mayhem for the first time.  It is told here that  Oystein is a very visionary  character in   forming & promoting his band  , Everything related to black metal he is in  even applying in his life on a daily basis,  he even formed a  cult called 'The black circle' which   was originally just a group of core  team of mayhem band  personnel. However,  when  the suicide  tragedy that occurred in  mayhem's vocalist 'Pelle' AKA 'Dead' made the  initial foundation  of mayhem  damaged & instantly varg ( Being bassist in mayhem )    came up with  Initially,   he was a poser who wanted to become one of  the black metal  fans in the  black metal  music scene in Norway at that time.

***

The film is a semi-biographical   adaptation of  the book 'Lord  of Chaos : The  Bloody Rise of The Satanic Metal Underground; With  the  theme of the book,  Jonas collaborated it with the  fictional narrative of drama/horror  so that a  semi-biographical fiction was  formed with a storyline  and characters that  were indeed happened in the past.

Self Interpretation :

Lords of Chaos 2018 | When the death metal become a real pain
Dead alive 1992 appearing in a while

What makes Lord of Chaos even more sinister  is that  Jonas  slips a lot of  easter-eggs in the plot  and combines them with a little dark comedy element in it. Like the  footage above, jonas completes the story of the lords of chaos film by showing Dead Alive 1992 in  the middle of  the storyline  as a  form of  warning or a sign that  the narrative of lord of chaos  is   more sinister  because it is based on past events.

For myself, this  film  is already very terrible to watch because the  narrative & visuals are very dark for us to interpret ourselves When watching it.

At the end of the film we can see a little sense of humor about the true meaning of death, and a little quote from Euronymous 'Not to feel sorry for him'.

Cult Classic Zombie Movies Brain Dead 1992 ( Dead Alive 1992 )

Brain Dead 1992,The Most Horribly Cult Classic Horror/Zombie movie in 1990’s
Brain Dead 1992 Poster Review By Stoneeman

Brain Dead 1992,The Most Horribly Cult Classic Horror/Zombie movie in 1990’s

Directors : Petter Jackson

Brain Dead 1992 is a zombie film  with horror  elements that are fusiond with dark comedy.  By combining horror & Comedy  elements, this film is  very suitable to watch for cult classic  horror movie enthusiasts, this film  is one of  the  groups of cult classic movies that developed in  the 1990's.

Brain Dead 1992 was directed by director petter Jackson, Petter Jackson  is a director who helped develop  cult classic movies in the  90's generation. If you   have   ever watched The Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit, Bad Taste, king-kong, The Frighteners are the  best works  of petter Jackson who   have certainly been known to the  public since the 2000's.

If you are    a  90's generation, of course, you  are familiar with the  name Petter Jackson, he is one of the directors  that we must know as a director who preserves the development of   cult classic movies in the  90's.

Back to the topic, Brain dead 1992 or known as dead alive is a zombie horror  film with  a comedy feel in the  narrative / story script in this film, This film  was successfully worked on by petter Jackson with  budget $3million. This film  is an achievement with the highest budget  of the films  – petter Jackson films that usually use low budget.

Full of blood & Fussed narratives with dark comedy

Petter Jackson and his team made this  1992 brain dead  more  cult with an uncomplicated & complex narrative making this horror film more interesting to enjoy at night.

Brain dead is one of  the  advancements of bad taste  that got the title as a cult classic movie among cult classic  horror  fans, after that Petter Jackson worked on Dead alive  which was released in   1992 which was successful became one of  the  cult classic horror movies that developed in the  1990's. This film     was known as brain dead 1992 but  because there were already other horror films that used this title, this movie  finally changed its  name to Dead alive 1992.

Full of blood & Fussed narratives with dark comedy
Simian Raticus ( Rat Monkey Sumatra )

The story begins with  a  prologue that tells a  flashback  to the   plague bearer, Simian Raticus (Rat Monkey Sumatra), as petter Jackson packaged the narrative of this film  very well and easily understood  because the  storyline   at the beginning of this  film is easy to digest and makes a lot of  sense.

The  film opens with a group of   expeditions seeking  savage rare animals on the Indonesian island of Sumatra in  1957.  Surely  this animal  is a  fictional animal to make the movie more  plausible.  To be honest, this zombie movie directed  by petter Jackson  is the most  sensible zombie movie of  most  movies – a zombie movie that is thriving at    this point.

The next scene  we  are introduced to the core  characters in this film  are Lionel Cosgrove (Tim  Balme), Paquita Maria S (Diana Penalver), Vera Cosgrove (Elizabeth Moody).   Lionel  Cosgrove  is the  main character in this film  who   will survive  the zombie  outbreak &  the first to be exposed to  the virus from Simian Raticus is the mother of  Lionel  namely Vera Cosgrove.   In combination with the  innocent romance narrative  intertwined  by Lionel & Paquita, this film  feels more colorful but not dominant in its  romance narrative.

Cult Classic Zombie Movies 1990's ( Brain Dead 1992 )
Baby Zombie in Dead Alive 1992

With a narrative that  is fussed by  dark comedy  elements making this film even more exciting, Plus petter Jackson  is very good at slipping the plot – the comedy plot in the middle –  in the  midst of the bitterness of zombie horror classics with the property  used is very classic,  in the year  1990's films – films like Brain Dead 1992   are a very different zombie-horror film from  the  current  zombie movies.

This class of films such as Brain dead 1992  is one of  the films that has managed to take away the  view of the cult classic horror  community because the visual  development used reminds me of the films   – cult classic horror films in    the    1970's  until the 1980's such as the evil dead 1981,Possessi on 1980,Halloween 1978,The Thing 1982,Prince  Of Darkness  1987  . I think Petter Jackson  was inspired by some  of these horror films so that  Brain Dead 1992 was created with  a typical zombie-horror fusion with  dark comedy elements that were tucked away   very  cleverly by petter Jackson.

Cult Classic Zombie Movies Brain Dead 1992 ( Dead Alive 1992 )
Cult Classic Zombie Movies 1990's ( Brain Dead 1992 )

There areseveral iconic scenes that we can encounter when watching this dead alive movie, Such as the scene of   eating with lionel's mother  who has been invectioned from the  bite of  a Sumatran monkey, Nazi Doctor  Sinting, Baby Zombie, Pieces of zombie  heads in  a blender, Zombies  with spoons, Scenes of zombies having sex like humans, Zombies  lionel's  mother who becomes a giant. There are     so many  iconic scenes that make this film  unique that  only  found in films directed  by Peter's Jackson.

Of course, Petter Jackson  is a  producer who also has a speciality in working on films  – his films  that have been successfully crowned as cult classic movies, one of which is dead alive / brain dead. This movie is packed with a mature narrative of horror classic & dark situation elements that are used as black comedy, making this film have a distinctive that is different from the cult classic horror in the previous generation.

Braindead 1992 is not  a playful horror  film, the film directed  by petter Jackson  is  an update of the previous generation of cult classic horror, because the production of this   dead alive film  is packaged with a genius  concept.

Of the many directors who pursue and contribute to the  development of cult classic horror movies, here  are some of  the best selected cult classic horror  films  from stoneeman:

1.The Devils 1971

Directors : Ken Russell

The Devils 1971 is  a historical horror drama movie that is very thick with elements –  suspense elements in the  narrative created by ken russel, The visual  work and soundtrack in this film  is also not playing because  a lot of using elements – elements that are quite familiar in my view. The film, directed  by Ken Russell, is also  one of  the  sutrada who participated in   and contributed to the development of cult classic horror movies in the  1980s.

This  director's  style of working on this one also has  characteristics that  are unique to other directors who  also enliven the development of  cult classic films.  Plus The Devils 1971  is a film that is  recognized as the most controversial film  of all time, although it is a historical drama, but this  film  is blocked in some countries and even  not worth  showing because it  contains elements that violate the  basic norms of  religious human beings, besides that  in this film  also exploits the truth   that    In a religious  institution or government has been ruled by  the power of Satan.

Even   though it is blocked in some countries, but  I  highly recommend this  film  as your watch meal at night because  I am sure you will get an epiphany when watching this movie,   because the  movie This reveals   a  truth that happened  to a history that   has been covered up.

2.The Devil 1972

Directors : Andrej zulawski

The Devil 1972 is a historical film with horror elements directed  by   Polish director Andrej Zulawski. Andrej Zulawski is a  director who  is known as a director who opposes the  currents of  commercialism in the films he worked on, Like The Devil 1972 is  a historical film that tells the  story of   about  german who invaded poland in  the 1790's.

But this film  does not tell the  full  story of the  ongoing war at  that   time, this film  tells the story of  Jakub who was held back on charges that he would kill the king as part of  of conspiracy.

This film   almost resembles the 1971 film The Devils which  was directed by Ken russel,The only difference is that the  devil mechanism in this  film is depicted with Jakub blindly after he learns the truth about his family & also his lover who was snatched by his own friend.

You must  watch the 1972 film the devil because this film  is also one of the  cult classic horror  that shows the  truth about the power of  demons  that  can  rule humans at any time, because demons can  reigns if the human mind is ruled by hatred.

3.Shivers 1975

Directors : David Cronenberg

Shivers 1975 is a  pretty scary movie  to watch,Shivers' movie is known as The Parasite murders in the French & Canada region. This movie  was directed by a director who also pursued the  development of cult classic horror in  the  1970-1990's and continued  by   his son,  brandon Cronenberg, who helped preserve   his father's career. in the cult classic horror movie industry to date.

Shivers 1975 is a movie known  as Body horror, science fiction film, this year   the  nuances of horror like shivers are  something new and  experimental in the  design of  screen writing made  by David Cronenberg.

The horror shown  in this film  is thick with the depiction of a parasite that can change the  soul &  physical condition in humans.

4.Eraserhead 1977

Directors : David Lynch

Eraserhead 1977 is a film that deserves to be said to be a  cult classic horror film, with the visual  concept used is made like  a film noir. This film   is   one of  the  works that is quite  horror with a  storyline narrative that is   quite difficult to understand, If you have ever watched films from several directors who  participated  contributed to  the development of cult classic films such as: Stanley Kubrick, Alejandro Jodorowsky, John Carpenter, David Cronenberg, If you have ever watched Naked Lunch I think this 1977 Eraserhead film  has a style that  The same in visual  application  as well as the narrative which uses a surreal writing style.

5.The Fog

Director : John Carpenter

The Fog 1980,  Surely if you are  a cult classic horror  connoisseur, of course you are familiar with the  name john carpenter in the  1980's.   He is one  of  the directors  who can be said to be a  director who pursues the  Horror shutter and has a unique style  in every production  of his films.

The fog movie is  one of  the best hits of  john carpenter after he released Halloween 1978  , Halloween 1978 is one  of  the  cult classic horror that has managed  to  become legendary among the  horror  community from his time to  this moment.

To read the  full synopis & summary about  the  film the fog 1980 you can read below  :

6.Possession 1981

Directors : Andrej zulawski

Possession 1981 was the best Psychological Horror  in the  1980s worked on  by  a director who developed in Poland,  Based on  the history of filmmaking,  there  are indeed many directors  pursuing   genres and  unique cultivation styles comes  from Poland.

For me Possesion itself is   one of  the  best films from Andrej, In the 1980s it was  indeed a  genre – the suspense horror genre was indeed many but  rarely had unique characteristics. Suspense 1981 is one of  the  cult classic horror movies  that  has a unique  characteristic with a  narrative style that can make the audience  logic go back and forth when watching  the film.

7.The Evil Dead 1981

Director : Sam Raimi

The Evil Dead 1981 is  a supernatural horror film directed  by  Sam Raimi, For those  of you who already know  evil dead, of course you already know who  Sam Raimi is. Sam Raimi is a well-known producer because  he created several famous films  such as the  Spiderman Trilogy, and became one of the  directors who helped pursue the  development of  cult classic horror  because  He managed to work on Evil Dead which became very famous in the 1980's-2000's.

The evil dead 1981 became very legendary because the  application of visuals, backing sound and also the property used in  this film was packed very tensely, so that one's first impression when watching this film  would be  It feels creepy because the  devil  packaging in the narrative is made very  realistic & plus  the  storyline is very tense.

8.Bad Taste 1987

9.Two Evil Eyes 1990

Directors : Dario Argento & George A.Romero

Two Evil Eyes 1990, the horror movie one is my best  recommendation to you guys. Worked on by  two directors who  existed in  1970's-2000's Dario Argento & George A.Romero, these two  directors  are known  as cultivators who pursue the horror film  scene.  Plus the  two of them  are also directors who pursued the  development of cult classic horror in the  early 1970's.

You  must watch this film  because the  narrative in  this film   is divided into  2  stories  , namely "The  Facts in the Case of Mr.Valdemar" & "The Black Cat", These two different  stories  will cause a horror sensation which is different. In addition, the  narrative in these two different stories has psychological horror & suspense  elements,  I recommend this film  to watch at night  because it  will be much felt  more stressful.

10.Sleepy Hollow 1999

Directors : Tim Burton

Sleepy Hollow 1999 is a Supernatural Horror film that has  a gothic feel / element in the use of property and  visual effects. The  narrative used is also lifted from a well-known novelist, Washington Irving  , based on a short novel  by Washington Irving in  1820 entitled 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow'.  This film  became one of the  urban legends in Hollywood because  it managed to become one of the  cult classic  horror in   the  1990's because it had a unique characteristic in the production  of  horror films that year  .

Tim Burton is also  one of  the activists who followed the  development of cult classic movies in the  1990's, This cultivator  also has a  gothic  style in working on his films such as Miss  peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, Sleepy Hollow 1999 and several of his films that have been  widely known by the public.
